From band camp to field setup to fundraising events, our volunteers help to make marching band an unforgettable experience both on and off the field. Here’s how you can get involved…

Board Roles

Committees

  • PROPS — Design, build, and order field props as needed for each competition season
  • CRAFT FAIR — Planning, setup, and vendor coordination for our Fall and Spring Craft Fairs (our biggest fundraiser!)
  • SCHOLARSHIP — raise money, review applications, and select recipients for the annual SBPA scholarship (parents of non-seniors only!)

Events

  • Serve pizza before football games
  • Serve pretzels to the visiting band at home games
  • Donate bake sale items or volunteer at the table during home games
  • Load, unload, and set up props on the field at games and competitions
  • Set up post-performance snack table at competitions
  • Tow the trailer to competitions
